Congratulations: to Eoina MacLean & Ruaridh Iain MacLeod who were married in Our Lady Star of the Sea on Friday 29th July. We wish Mr & Mrs MacLeod every blessing and every love, joy, health and happiness in their marriage. Congratulations and best wishes!

Wedding: we pray for Steven Davidson & Claire MacNeil who will marry over in South Uist on Friday 5th August. The Wedding will take place in St. Michael’s Church in Ardkenneth as this is Claire’s home parish. Fr. Michael MacDonald is the Parish Priest and will celebrate the Nuptial Mass for Steven & Claire. Canon John Paul will also attend the Nuptial Mass. Let us pray that Steven & Claire along with their families and friends will have a lovely day and that the sun will shine for them!

Friday & Saturday Mass: please note there is no Mass next Friday & Saturday.

Confessions: next Saturday morning there will be no Confessions as Canon John Paul will not be back till the afternoon.

Special Collection: we will take up a 2nd collection today for the Bishop’s Fund. A fund to help and support Bishop Brian in his work as Bishop of our Diocese. Our Diocese of Argyll & the Isles is very unique and widespread. It covers all the Western Isles and Inner Isles and reaching from Kingussie to Fort William and over to Mallaig and all the way to Campbeltown and Dunoon and to the Isle of Bute and Isle of Arran. So any support to help Bishop Brian even to get around the Diocese is very grateful.
