Bhileag (Newsletter) 25th September 2022

Fr. Donald Ewen Campbell : We continue to remember in our prayers the repose of the soul of Fr. Donald who died on 16th September in Arisaig at the age of 75. Fr. Donald was from Garrynamonie in Uist and he had studied for the Priesthood in Valladolid in Spain. He was parish priest of various parishes on the islands and on the mainland. He had been ordained for 50 years which was a wonderful blessing. The Requiem Mass took place on Saturday 24th September in St. Peter’s Daliburgh with Bishop Brian McGee and Fr Donald was then laid to rest in Hallan Graveyard in Daliburgh. May God be gracious and merciful upon his humble and faithful Priest. Eternal rest grant unto him O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.
