Lapaich: Fr. John Paul will visit the housebound this week. Monday in Glen, Brevig and Castlebay. On Tuesday in Eoligarry & Northbay. Wednesday in Castlebay, & Vatersay. Thursday in Borve & Craigston.

Weekday Mass: please note during this week there is a slight change in Mass places and time- please note the Wednesday Mass will be in NORTHBAY and Thursday Mass will be in CRAIGSTON (both at 10am) and note that the Mass on Vatersay on Friday is at 11am. The reason for the change of Wednesday and Thursday is that the electricity will be turned off in Northbay on Thursday and on Friday morning Fr. John Paul is in Castlebay School for Christmas Service. So please note these changes!!

Church Cleaning& Christmas decoration: Today Sunday (15th Dec) Castlebay church will be cleaned and prepared for Christmas. Looking for helpers to come along at 3.00pm today to help! Also Next Sunday (22nd Dec) Craigston Church will be cleaned and prepared for Christmas at 3pm- so if you can help please come along. Announcements of when the others churches will be prepared will be done by “word of mouth”.

Fr. John Convery: wishes to thank everyone for making his stay on the island so nice- even though the weather was wet and windy for most of it. It has not put him off and he plans to come back. We look forward to that!

Sgoil nan Sagart: is a Gaelic TV programme which follows the life of our recently ordained priest- Fr. Ronald Campbell. Tony Kearney with his film crew followed the life of Fr. Ronald over in Rome where he was finishing his studies and then they filmed him all the way up to the Ordination on Benbecula which was on the 9th July. The Gaelic programme will be shown over Christmas -on the 25th/26th/27th December on BBC ALBA at 8.30pm. It will be a lovely programme –so pass on the information.

Christmas Mass Times 2019: Christmas Eve- 7pm Northbay; 9pm Vatersay; 11pm Craigston.

On Christmas day- 9.30am Eoligarry and 11.30am in Castlebay.
