Special collection: today there will be a 2nd collection for supporting our Seminarians.
SCIAF: today we have Alistair Dutton, who is the Director of SCIAF making a visit to Barra and he will speak at the end of the Sunday Masses to say thank you for all your support and will explain a little more of the good work of SCIAF.
The “Rosary on the Coast”: today Sunday, 29th April at 3pm there will be “The Rosary on the Coast” on the Traigh Mhor in Eoligarry. The rosary prayer is for Faith, life and peace in the British Isles”. It would be good to start arriving from 2.30pm onwards so that we can organise ourselves into how to pray the Rosary. The Statue of Our Lady of Fatima will be taken out of St. Vincent’s church and be brought to the Traigh mhor. The housebound are most welcome to come along. Just make yourself known to any marshals who will organise parking on the beach. Each decade of the Rosary will be represented by each of the 5 churches on the islands. Everyone is welcome to come along to the Rosary. The Rosary is one of the most important prayers we have. Thousands all over the UK coastline are gathering in different locations -so come along and join in this important prayer. All you have to do is bring your own Rosary Beads. After the Rosary there will be refreshments and home-baking in Northbay Hall. All welcome!

Vatersay Sunday Mass: next Sunday is the 1st Sunday of the month- Mass at 4pm.
First Saturday devotion: next Saturday is 1st Saturday devotion of Confession, Rosary, Mass (10am) and Exposition. Our Lady of Fatima encourages us in the 1st Saturday devotion.
New Safeguarding Materials: The Catholic Church in Scotland has published new material in regard to Safeguarding children and vulnerable adults. Please pick up a leaflet at the church entrance.
Month of May: is the month of Mary and an important month to pray the Holy Rosary as often as we can. The Rosary will prayed after Mass Tuesday to Friday. On Saturday it will be at 9.40am.
