Special Collection: today there will be a special collection for Scottish Catholic Education.

Safeguarding: Mrs Tina Campbell, the head of Safeguarding for the Scottish Catholic Church, will be here on Thursday 28th February till Saturday 2nd March. There will be a training meeting of all those involved with Children’s liturgy on Friday 1st March at 3.30pm in Castlebay School. The training meeting will last 90mins. It is important that all those involved are able to attend.

Old Borve Graveyard: a collection was taken up at the recent Requiem Mass of Ealasaid MacNeil and the family asked for the collection to go towards the maintaining of Old Borve graveyard. The total of £1127.46 was raised. Many thanks to the Lul, Catherine Lilian & Louise for this very kind donation.

Vatersay Sunday Mass: next Sunday is the first Sunday of the month of March. There will be Mass in Our Lady of the Waves & St. John at 4.00pm.

First Saturday: Next Saturday in Castlebay  there will be the 1st Saturday Fatima devotion.

Fr. John Paul: will be back on Tuesday.

Sacraments Class: on Tuesdays at 2.50pm-3.30pm in Castlebay Primary school.

Barra 200 Club: this is a “final call” for any Subscriptions (of £12) for the Barra 200 Club. Subscriptions can be handed into the Post Office or to Mary Sarah (810539). Many thanks to everyone who supports the 200 club which supports the parish. Moran Taing!

Date for Diary: Wednesday 6th March is ASH WEDNESDAY. The season of Lent is just around the corner! Why now start thinking now of what to give up for Lent or what extra to do for Lent this year!
