Bhileag 13th May 2018

Communications Sunday: today the Church asks to pray in a special way for the work  of Communications in the Church. We live in a Digital, social media World and the Church needs to play a part in using communications like the TV, Radio and Internet to get the message of the Gospel and the teachings of the Catholic Faith out to the Faithful of the world. There will be a letter read out at all Masses this weekend from Archbishop Tartaglia of Glasgow who is the Bishop in charge of Communications in the Scottish Catholic Church. The letter talks about the Church spreading the truth of the Gospel and for people not to listen to “fake news”.

Second Collection: today for the work of Communications in the Scottish Catholic Church.
